I thought Trump was pretty tame with the delivery of a pretty pointed message.

Perspectives I suppose. We all have one.

That speech wasn’t meant for us.

Was hoping I’d read the leftists unhappy today that Trump called Biden an extortionist and pedophile, but I’ll trust his strategy.

I thought Trump was pretty tame with the delivery of a pretty pointed message.

That was my impression as well. His speaking style was subdued and delivered with less energy as compared to many previous speeches. With President Trump nothing is an accident... It was delivered this way to reach people who might have been turned off by a more combative tone. This speech was not aimed at the true believers, it was aimed squarely at those who are sitting on the fence after years of negative coverage and press.

The entire convention was the best that I have ever seen. It was incredible to see the networks openly hostile to the Republican convention and boosters for the lame production the Democrats produced. They do not even try to pretend that they are impartial anymore.

One of the networks that I channel surfed to (I do not remember which one) muted the sound between speakers and had a written notice displayed that said the music being played was violating the copyrights. This was of course an absolute lie... The Republican Party obtains the rights to play music through performing rights organizations that allow them to play music in their catalogs. Lefty artists often complain, but they typically sold their rights to pick and choose who gets to play their music to the performing rights organizations and typically have no say as to who can use it after that.
