Kyle Rittenhouse Worked As Lifeguard In Kenosha On Day Of Shooting, Cleaned Graffiti Off Local School After Work: Legal Team (John M. Pierce)

Kyle Rittenhouse was working as a community lifeguard in Kenosha on the day of the shooting, went to clean graffiti off a public high school near the Kenosha County Courthouse after work and did not carry a gun across state lines, according to a statement from his legal defense team released on Friday evening.

=====

He continued: "Later in the day, they received information about a call for help from a local business owner, whose downtown Kenosha auto dealership was largely destroyed by mob violence. The business owner needed help to protect what he had left of his life's work, including two nearby mechanic's shops. Kyle and a friend armed themselves with rifles due to the deadly violence gripping Kenosha and many other American cities, and headed to the business premises. The weapons were in Wisconsin and never crossed state lines."

How about a picture of Kyle performing unpaid community service? Can a similar picture be found for ANY of the curfew-breaking rioters?

Definitely more info that puts a Covington-level lie to the MSM Lynch Mob!

Tell me one thing: Has the guy with a gun in one hand who got his elbow shot off been arrested?

Looks like a weak case here. Can’t charge him for self-defense. The best they can do is probably disturbing the public charge. If this was in California, they could probably get him on a weapons charge but if they pressed too hard, likely appeal all the way to Supreme Court.

“Bicep, and I imagine he’s in a hospital bed still.”

I’ve been to a county hospital. A fair number of the patients there on Saturday night are handcuffed to the gurneys.

Bicep boy should already be under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon.

Perhaps I should make this statement even clearer by adding "non court ordered," right before the "unpaid". Just to be clear!

Democrats are always giving Republicans valuable campaign advice so I will return the favor:

Hey Democrats - It’s a sure-fire winning strategy to pile on spurious criminal charges, publicly libel and demean this young man and make clear to all Americans that you side with the Antifa criminals who were hell-bent on destroying property in this one beautiful city.

While you’re at it tell us that the rioters and looters were “honoring black lives” and make it clear that you don’t think any of us should have the right to defend our families or our property.

Keep up the good work, you’re sure to win big in November!

Betcha Trump will introduce Kyle at one of his events just as soon as this young man is cleared of charges.

When this is all over with, he will be partnering up with Nick Sandmann buying and developing islands in the Caribbean.

Don’t known. I do know I’ve called the Chicago ATF office 3 times leaving messages every time. They’ve not given me the simple courtesy of a call back as of yet.

Of course he has a self defense claim. All elements there.

They’ll get him on a gun charge. You must be at least 18 years old to open carry in Wisconsin. Rittenhouse is only 17. Whoever handed Rittenhouse that rifle set him up for failure.

Some people describe Rittenhouse as a patriot. I won’t argue against that. But he’s a patsy as much as anything else. Even if he is found innocent of all charges, Rittenhouse will be spending a lot of time in jail.

Until he was viciously attacked Kyle was in private property at the invitation of the owner. The “open carry” law doesn’t apply on private property. His attorney will argue he was forced into the streets by the aggressors.

And they’ll win on that point, too.

Under Wisconsin statutes that say anyone under 18 who "goes armed" with any deadly weapon is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor, Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, was not old enough to legally carry the assault-style rifle he had. But John Monroe, a lawyer who specializes in gun rights cases, believes an exception for rifles and shotguns, intended to allow people age 16 and 17 to hunt, could apply.

I could see them make a deal. A year in prison with credit for being in prison since then. So it would be a couple of months.

If his only applicable charge is being a minor open carrying a gun, why wouldn't he be going to juvie jail? Why wouldn't his record get wiped clean at 18?

You are joking are you not? Of course he has not been, nor will he be.

People need to realize, it is us they are fighting. And if you haven't realized which side is which by now, you won't never.
