Shitski Batman, now we can all go in person and watch the NFL and NBA!
Or maybe not.

Explaining the next steps of their research, Professor Alexander Gintsburg, from Gamaleya National Research Centre for Epidemiology and Microbiology said the phase 3 clinical trial of the vaccine has been approved on August 26, 2020.
“It is planned to include 40,000 volunteers from different age and risk groups, and will be undertaken with constant monitoring of volunteers through an online application,” Gintsburg added.
The irony of China giving us the virus and Russia giving us the cure. Only in 2020...
I was snarking at Lancet after their last HCQ nonsense.
I was snarking at Lancet after their last HCQ nonsense.
On the video, the good doctor explains these vaccines used different approaches...RNA, adenovirus etc templates.
The Russian vaccine might be used here in the Philippines. It's template is similar to the Ebola vaccine, because both covid and ebola share antigens i.e. covid’s spikes. Which is why some claim it was a manufactured virus by China.
The Russian vaccine report is on small numbers, so is phase 2, but they want to release it early for money and political reasons?...hence if they use it here in the Philippines we would be their phase 3 trial.
The US, European and British vaccines are in phase 3 tests, meaning tests on thousands of volunteers, and all seem to work so well that they might release it as soon as the trial is done, or maybe before. This early release is similar to letting people use drugs that work so dramatically that waiting for perfection will kill people.
So if Trump allows its release in October, expect deep state stooges to try to block it.
A lot of the anti vax hype is just that...exaggeration or distortion of the data, usually promoted by those without scientific training, and often by affluent healthy types who never saw people die of measles, whooping cough, meningitis, tetanus, dengue fever, etc.
So ignore propaganda.
And remember...the vaccines all are different, so if you hear a claim, ask the person to clarify which vaccine they are talking about.
:)
"Dont dismiss the Russians too quickly." I agree with that.. They seem to be quite ingenious when the chips are down..
Good information...thanks for posting.
Vietnam is also on the list for the Russian vaccine, and a score of other countries so you won’t be alone if the Philippines government decides to try it.
My only concern is whether the various strains of Covid-19 will each require a separate vaccine or will antibodies for one strain be effective against the others too.
The Russian (and Chinese) vaccine uses the adenovirus template just like the British and one of the US vaccines.
It targets the spike of the virus..
And all the vaccines produce not only antibodies but T cell immunity, meaning long term immunity.
The Russians are putting their vaccine out without full testing because it is similar to the US etc vaccine
Third world countries like the Philippines where I live have been badly hit and worry the western vaccines will be used on their own countries first so there won't be enough to go around. So the Russian offer looks good.
The death rate is bad here, but not that bad, but the hysteria is terrible and the shut down is threatening hunger in the near future since people no longer can work
Thank you for your insight, Doctor. The Wife and myself have been getting the yearly influenza vaccine for about 6 years. Yes, we understand that the flu virus mutates, and much is best guess on what strain to include in the vaccine. Still, neither of have contracted the flu in all that time while being in our 60’s. Now if you guys/gals would come up with a common cold vaccine.
