In order to really cut funding for TV sports, we’d all have to “cut the cord,” or “ditch the dish!”
The $100 - $200 you send AT&T, Cox Cable, Dish, Xfinity, Verizon, etc., etc. every month is divvied up among the networks. They have a guaranteed income every month.
Granted, their advertising revenues can and will be affected by our boycotts, but ESPN and the network sports contracts are not in any real danger in the short run.
In the long run, absent TV and in-house fans might make a difference.

ESPN gets the most of all the channels out of a cable subscription I believe like $8 a month.

Most of them are fairly big strong guys; there ARE places where you just cant get a backhoe or post hole digger into, but you still need to dig ditches and post holes.
