would allow citizens to perform marriage ceremonies after taking 120 hours of education on planning and performing civil ceremonies.
120 hours of indoctrination on the blessings of gay unions?

FReepmail me to be added to the list.
is performing marriages an issue in Pennsylvania???
A Justice of the Peace has traditionally had the right to preside over civil marriage ceremonies.
However. in the the Orthodox Church, the Roman Catholic Church, and some other Christian Churches, Marriage is a Sacrament or Holy Mystery. Weddings must take place in the Church, presided over by a Priest or in some cases a Bishop!! Usually, they also require the presence of the Faithful!
No “120 hours of education on planning and performing civil ceremonies” can take the place of that!! And “gay” “unions” are completely bogus and grotesque!!!!
Given that the US marriage rate has hit lows unseen since records started being kept, it appears that .gov needs as.many hands on deck to keep the family court/divorce industry off life support.

As long as there is a written contractual relationship filed with the County Clerk’s office, what’s the big deal?
Hell, we did that when we were kids. We also gave out communion using the infamous NECCO wafers.
This will be much easier than 120 hours of education.

More crap for us PA’ers, which isn’t going to go, or end well.
I am sure the 120 hours of “education” will not be provided for free.
Growing-up in this mobbed-up state has taught me to ALWAYS look for the kickback.
