A Rhode Island professor with a history of incendiary comments against conservatives is under fire this week for appearing to suggest that the fatal shooting of a Patriot Prayer supporter during unrest in Portland last month was morally justified.
The comment from Erik Loomis, a history professor at the University of Rhode Island, came in response to a comment on his blog post: “Why Was Michael Reinoehl Killed?”
The post questioned whether police deliberately “murdered” 48-year-old Michael Reinoehl, the man who fatally shot Aaron “Jay” Danielson on Aug. 29, the night Trump supporters clashed with backers of Black Lives Matter in Portland.

Why is this so called “professor” employed? Why is he even employable??? THIS is a case where the “cancel culture” rules need strict enforcement.

I went to a hard left school in Manhattan and I came out even more conservative.

While it is possible for an atheist to be ethical, there is no reason for this. For maybe a generation, atheists will mostly continue to observe the morality of the population from which they came. After that, morality will start to break down. Eventually, there will be no inhibition to murder and, for that matter, stealing, lying, or abusing and enslaving others. Society will break down because, as Hobbes put it, a war of all against all. To reconstitute society, the government will establish a new religion (whether or not it is called a religion).
Lot of stupid built into a lot of them, unfortunately.
They only get good grades from these people if they swallow the lies.
Met a young gal, many months ago, who was into all of that stuff. She must have learned it from her parents. Perhaps, anyways.
