Many are saying that Trump should not have done this interview.
I disagree.
I think it provides a stark contrast, that here we have Trump who is accessible to the press, and willing to take on the hard questions, as opposed to Sleepy Joe, who never gives interviews, and only gets softballs from the press.
You know the ONLY reason the left is pushing all this, is because it ONLY plays to their most rabid base. Think about that for a moment. No conservative, or sane moderate is going to be persuaded by ANY of these obvious hit pieces. They will fail just like ALL have failed going back to 2016. So the ONLY reason the left is pushing this HAS to be because they know they ARE LOSING THEIR BASE. This, and the BLM/Antifa BS is ALL just trying to get the Walk-Away crowd back on their plantation or it will be a demorat wipeout in 2020. Don’t be fooled by the obvious ploy.

Why did he let someone from the media interview him?!?!? Answer: Trump is fearless and is not afraid to confront his enemies head on. Whatever the stories coming from this the message is a pro Trump one. Would Biden sit down with Hannity? No, because he a typical politician. Coward!
I don’t see anything wrong with anything the President said. Everyone was changing their minds daily about the virus, based on what the “experts”, who also changed their minds daily, were saying. This whole thing is just another useless attempt to throw non-existent mud on POTUS.
Great interviewers ask concise, direct questions. Then get out of the way for their subject’s answer. (see Brian Lamb’s interviews on CSPAN’s Booknotes as an example.) Look at how Woodward meanders all over the waterfront in the verbose premise to his question. Then Trump gets to the heart of it, saying directly, in effect, “Bob, you actually believe all that crap?”
