Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) promised in an interview Sunday evening that she would be more progressive on police reform if she is elected vice president.
Appearing on Desus & Mero on Sunday evening, Harris was asked, “When you get into office, what can we expect from you and Biden and are you going to be more progressive as far as what people are asking about the cops?”
She responded, “Yes, and I’m going to tell you why.” She went on to say she would hold the police more accountable:

Someone should tell her that the words “acountability and consequence” apply to everybody, they are not a “term of art” in the criminal justice system.
In fact, as a “term of art”, it is mostly related to management practices, not policing.
A search for the term “accountability and consequence” does not on the first page return anything related to policing.
But of course, the media did not ask her why she was making things up.
If so frustrating to know that if MSM would just be down the middle for one day Biden would be in the 20’s.
Se can reimagine police reform from her minority Senate seat.
“Reimagine” policing.
Please notice how the Left aggressively and constantly is pushing “reform” (or “reimagining”) of local police. You never hear, for example, about “reform” of FBI, or fixing their corruption, or changes to the dozens of law-enforcement or intelligence agencies of Fed.gov.
As with management of elections, these are two very important aspects of local control and citizens’ power. To further centralize control in America, these two things (along with gun rights) need to be greatly restricted.
As America arms up.

A chokehold was not used on George Floyd. A carotid hold was not used on Floyd. Floyd was kneeled on in the back while being held on the ground. He wasn't even kneeled on at his neck, as some people claim.
So even ignoring the question of whether the drugs killed him, or would have killed him, and the question of whether kneeling should have stopped when he seemed to pass out, her statement was a complete lie, as banning those two things would NOT have saved Floyd.
And lastly — police ARE being held accountable. We have investigations after every officer-involved shooting. We have fired police, we have prosecuted police. Maybe we need to do more, maybe some cities and towns need to get better at it, but the idea that police are never held accountable is ludicrous.
“Progressive” = communist.

To date, I have NOT heard of any support from Senator Harris (CA-D) for the ambushed Los Angeles Sheriff Deputies in her own state. Yes, Joe Biden has condemned the attack but, I have heard nothing from her, her Senate Colleague, Diane Feinstein (CA-D) nor from the Compton-local US Representatives, Maxine Waters (CA43-D) & Nanette Barragán (CA44-D). Nor has California’s own Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi (CA12-D) been heard from in my reading.
