Kamala Harris Tours Wildfire-Ravaged California Town Accusing Trump of "Climate Denial"
Daily Mail UK ^ | 09/15/2020 | Joe Davies

Kamala Harris accused Trump of climate denial reigniting the growing feud between the President and Governor of California. On Monday, Trump rejected the scientific consensus that climate change is exacerbating California's wildfires, saying the climate would 'start getting cooler, you just watch it'.

After visiting the site of fires in Sacramento, the President instead blamed Newsom's forest management for causing the devastation. He said: 'There has to be good strong forest management. So hopefully they'll start doing that.'

Yesterday, Harris said America's leadership must 'take seriously these new changes in our climate. Ideology should not kick in when responding to wildfires and the climate crisis.' At a grassroots fundraiser on Monday, Harris said: 'We have a president in Donald Trump who has pretty much denied the science and even today, could not with the full voice, speak to the fact that we have to address this and we have to address it around projection of what's predictable, in terms of not only drought, but electrical fires based on lightning, which is part of what we saw in California.

'The fact is that we are in the midst of an incredible crisis, because our climate is changing in drastic form, which is leading to California burning in many places, which is leading to storms hitting our Gulf Coast repeatedly year after year and getting worse,' reported ABC. Speaking in front of a burned playground Harris told reporters: 'The people who are victimized by these, they could care less and their children could care less who they voted for in the last election. This is not a partisan issue. It is incumbent on us, in terms of the leadership of our nation, to take seriously these new changes in our climate, and to do what we can to mitigate against the damage.'

I take my perspective that the US is like the EU so seriously that I just see California as another country that I decided, several years ago, to never visit again. My daughter moving to Phoenix from Studio City made it easier. :)

If you care about NBC, then she’s not eligible.

All Rats and about 90% of FR stopped caring about NBC because the Fraud got away with illegally being president, so now many people have formerly ineligible people they’d like to see POTUS.

Rafael Cruz, Kamala Harris, it’s ALL good now.

EVERY member of the 2009-2017 US House of Representatives, yes, you too, Trey for 6 years, is responsible for the Fraud’s crimes against America.

Shouldn’t forest management be a part of Climate Change management? How many tons of CO2 is being released from the fires?

NBC is Comcast.

Comcast is an avowed American enemy, more dangerous then Russia or China or Iran

Of course. I believe California hasn’t gone for the GOP presidential candidate wince 1992. So don’t expect it this time, or ever again more likely than not.

“Shouldn’t forest management be a part of Climate Change management?”

As a landowner who borders Jefferson National on 2 sides, I can tell you they will not manage the forests. They are “sacred”. There are SO MANY downed trees/dead and dry wood that it’s an inferno waiting to happen all around me. 15K plus acres around me actually for this specific section of that national forest. You cannot even pick a mushroom legally in national forest. It’s “not allowed”. So I find it impossible to believe they liberal globalist will allow it in the future.

OH, and like duh I failed to mention...we aren’t allowed to pick up or cut those downed trees for fire wood. Have to leave it there to rot. What’s the reasoning for this? I have no clue.

Bill Clintons anti logging policies (that caused fuel in forest to build) are somehow Trumps fault ?

California has been on the Green New Deal for 2 years now. Why are fires getting worse?

“Someone’s in denial all right”

Those western states have been in ‘overgrown forests’ denial.

Chameleon Harris is wrong. It’s UFOs landing in the forests on the West Coast that are starting al the fires.

California is a lot worse than Washington. Western Washington is not dry except for a unique rain shadow on the peninsula.

And eastern Washington is not so filled with those whacky leftists.

And the Ho from California has had NOTHING to say about the two police officers who were ambushed and shot - in her state. No visit or phone calls to them in the hospital, not even a word of condemnation of who shot them.
