I hope you can appreciate how tragic it is that we need to be reminded of this. Up until now, every generation in the history of humanity has held this as so obviously self-evident it didn't merit discussion.
I do worry there will come a time when this point I will hold to the bitter end will lead to a personal backlash in real life. Like I will never attend a so called same-sex “wedding” nor will I ever acknowledge them as real marriages. Its never a position I’ve ever had to maintain in real-life before(apart from the time of our country’s referendum on the issue, when my sister gave our mother s**t because she said she wasn’t sure how she was going to vote).
