Think back the 1960s and the violence and turmoil that took place, we had legitimate terrorist groups on the USA, Weather Underground, Black Panthers, etc....

We have all that on steroids nows, first comes the riots, looting, burnings, etc.....

The next logical step as the left realizes how their power is being taken away....is political assassinations, they have already have tried when the Bernie Bro shot Steve Scalise.

The Coup attempt was by James Hodgkinson. He wanted to kill every Republican present, not just Scalise. He also shot a Capitol Police Officer, Crystal Griner, a congressional aide, and a lobbyist. Present were at least 20 Republican members of Congress. Hodgkinson wanted to kill every member of Freedom Caucus, but was glad to shoot up other Republicans along the way.

Griner put herself in line of fire to protect and suppress. She, fellow officer, David Bailey (also injured but not by gunfire), and Alexandria police officers killed Hodgkinson and saved lives. Bailey and Griner were only present because of Scalise's leadership position, House Whip.

Why this incident doesn't loom far larger in the American psyche is beyond me -- although I get it, they were just Republicans and, heh, it's Bernie, maayan. The Gabby Giffords shooting has been far more publicized and repeated. Loughner, who shot her, was a registered independent, held a personal grudge against Gifford, and was insane. Hodgkinson was not mentally ill and simply wanted to murder Republicans to advance his political agenda.

Btw, to really understand it all, just ask yourself, why there is no Wikipedia entry for "James Hodgkinson"?
