Fauci told us in June there would be 100,000 new cases a day...its never come close to that amount...yesterday the case count was 23,000 with 250 deaths- a .5% mortality rate...

That’s his proper job, to advise on virus transmission matters. It isn’t his job to dictate policy. By way of analogy, consider designing an automobile for the general public: a highway safety engineer would advise everyone to drive heavy, up-armored SUVs; the energy efficiency expert would prescribe the lightest weight vehicle possible; the electronics engineer wants precise computerized controls while the mechanical engineer wants easily-maintained and simple systems; meanwhile the sellers want snazzy looks and low-cost. Obviously satisfying everyone is impossible so the auto executive has to take all points of advice and find a workable balance among safety, efficiency, precision, ease of maintenance, appearance and cost. Fauci is trying to be the auto executive which is Trump’s role. But the media and “scientists” won’t let Trump do the balancing he was elected to do because of TDS.

He is an idiot. Tell business owners they need to retrofit their HVAC systems to match what airlines are doing to mitigate virus spread, the spread of all viruses. Federal government might want to promote this type of technological advancement at warp speed.

The highest correlation of deaths is for those in long term care facilities (nursing homes), which following the “logic” of Fauci, should be the first places to be shut down, and second would be health care facilities.
What is often overlooked by partisan and narrow minds, is the relationship of one thing to everything else. So in the case of closing gyms, there may be a 1.5% decreased risk, but ten times the benefit in staying open — if a person doesn’t become obese and diabetic because they exercise regularly.
In the big picture, a person without obesity and other diabetic comorbidities, are far more likely to be able to take care of themselves without caregivers — who have one of the greatest rates of transmission in society because they have frequent close contact with sick people.
But you don’t lock up all the doctors, nurses and caregivers so they cannot help anyone.
They weren’t on Fauci’s list, but the author felt the need to include it.
