Another theory: he’s spending all day every day preparing for the debates.
It’s not impossible and if I were him that’s what I’d be doing.

I have had the same thought. I have been following Presidential elections since 1972 and have never seen a candidate laying low during campaign season. And Joe is not popular with dimrat primary voters. Same with kamala.
Add to that, both of them are hiding from their uber friendly media. Something stinks about all this.
Maybe he is a real vampire. He saw the sun was out and had to retreat back to his coffin.
Every ten minutes or so there are two Biden commercials that bash Trump and go on all day and half the night...Someone must be spending billions on all that advertising and perhaps they figure that's all it will take to influence the low information Democrat voters...
What is it, 5 days til the first debate? They must be training him to memorize the answers to the list of questions Chris Wallace sent over.
This IS their game plan. They have been able to trust the media to carry their water so far, and with pretty good effect. They figure probably correctly that they can stall until next Tuesday debate Day, without exposing him or her to public scrutiny. After that, who knows, one step at a time. I doubt it signals anything more than that.
Joe is feelingill. Needs to rest. Tomorrow he will be tested for covid. Saturday he will have covid. By next Friday he will be fine.
