How the hell do they expect this guy to win if he doesn’t even campaign?
Oh, that’s right. Voter fraud.
Joe Biden was NEVER going to be the president.
The idea back in February was to have the other candidates back out and let him claim the nomination as a placeholder. This would allow the DNC to choose who THEY wanted as president (Kamala) and stick her on the ticket.
Then when Biden won, it would be an easy enough task to have him step aside due to "health issues" and for the "good of the country." Nobody would even question the move because everybody can see how rapidly his abilities and energy levels have declined.
The one thing they didn't count on was Trump winning anyhow. Despite the impeachment hanging over his head. Despite the pandemic. Despite the crashing economy. Despite the street riots. Trump is WINNING anyway!
This did not figure into their plans. Trump was supposed to be twenty points behind by now and totally dispirited. Trump was supposed to be NOT even campaigning (pandemic!).
All Biden was expected to have to do was sit in his basement and bide his time so that he could cruise to an easy-peasy election and then step aside for Kamala.

One might argue the campaign’s strategy is to entirely make this a referendum on Trump - but if Biden loses whoever set that strategy will never work another day in politics as it will be viewed as a massive blunder. I don’t think political types are willing to risk their careers like that, so what else can it be other than Joe isn’t up to the task physically?
Back to back lid days.
I was VERY MUCH on the “Of course he will debate” side.
I have completely switched. There’s no way he’s there on Tuesday.
Why? To reset Biden’s body clock in preparation for the debate. Otherwise, with Biden out of it by the early afternoon, he would not be able to participate in the debate.
