Not many options since they’re nearly all leftists. Having said that, Wallace is one of the worst. Watch the difference in his tone and persistence between the two.
The Dems never have to face a conservative moderator. They know they would be asked tough questions so they simply refuse to allow it. Republicans, on the other hand, can never seem to even get someone who is not hard left.
In the distant past (back in the days of 12 channel televisions), the debates were often moderated by the anchor of the network and the questions were from a panel of newspaper and magazine reports. Essentially, people who were liberal but not accustomed to grandstanding for the camera.
Today, they're all a bunch of prima donnas or peacocks strutting for the cameras.
