I doubt that very seriously. Read the article. It is very lengthly and they specifically mention there is no evidence of any unknown Russia ties. They do not mention any fraud or anything else. If they found anything, that would be the big headline. The NY Times went over a fine tooth comb of his taxes for 20 years and found no fraud or laws broken.
The main tax shelter he used was made possible by Obama in 2009 as part of the recovery act, losses from his Atlantic City casino in fact he carried over for many years.
The headlines are what the media will push and what is remembered by the voters. What’s in the article several paragraphs down explaining the “so called tax evasion or fraud” won’t matter to those that only listen to the headlines.
