A non event?

He had to take life saving meds that are not even fully approved by the FDA in some cases.

I think what we actually learned is that there are now treatments and therapies that can save us if we catch it early enough, especially for the old and others with medical issues.

I get that. I”m talking about “generally speaking”.

Two years ago my wife had the flu for four weeks and almost died. My brother had it for SIX weeks and ended up in the ER. Yet there is no flu lockdown or mandatory mask wearing.

“non-event” is a relative term. And no event that affects you dramatically and personally is a non-event - to you - even though it may be for the general public.

That’s not about the virus. That is about the corrupt FDA.

And define “had to”.

The father of my friend from high school tested positive in May. He’s 94, has dementia, and is in a retirement home. He showed no symptoms at all.

You don’t know that. It could have just as easily been prophylactic in nature and not “life saving”. Stop being such a drama queen.
