I doubt that Trump even knows what docs they have. He can order them to release them but someone’s got to enforce the order and it will be hard to do if they decide to hide the ball.

Anyone in government who touches a secured document has to sign off on it. Every document is copied and securely stored off site for their protection.
Whomever is responsible for keeping these docs will never refuse the order of the CIC. What may happen is they are reported “lost” which has happened before. However in this case the documents (or copies) were held by Barr so I doubt there will be a problem releasing them.
I expected this sort of thing and expect quite a bit more in the coming days leading up to the election with a true block buster release about 8-10 days before the election.
