The television station just got owned by the relatives of the murdered man. I mean owned as all they are worth.

I predict they will fire the reporter because they will deny any knowledge of this, and claimmit was all the reporters’ doing, and try to duck charges this way.

One of my dreams is to see the leftist biased news people brought to justice and punishment. One at a time if necessary.

So a tv station management recklessly sends a mentally unbalanced guy with a gun to menace anyone he wants to overpower in his hatred of Trump supporters. Sounds like a plan-—a plan to get sued as you said.

Interesting, in CA neither pain and suffering of the wrongful death heirs, nor punitive damages, can be recovered in wrongful death actions. Per a little quick research, both are allowed in CO. I’m usually the first to throw cold water around here ion unrealistic expectations as to what can be achieved in lawsuits. In this case I think the station has a real problem on its hands, hiring an unlicensed gunman to provide security in circumstances where the danger is self evident

Correction - all the station is worth PLUS the limits of its liability insurance, AND the personal assets of the corporate officers who approved hiring of the dude.

Probably not. The relatives would have a wrongful death lawsuit. The way damages are measured in a wrongful death action is different than if the victim had survived. Wrongful death usually produces damages far less than the other situation. In addition, 9News and Pinkerton are insured. So their insurance premiums will go up.

The sad thing is that friends of mine who run good security firms will also see their premiums go up because Pinkerton and 9News could not vette their employees responsibly.
