If a site operates as a platform only they can’t be held liable for content they did not post. Where Facebook and others are setting themselves up for massive liability is by editing or deleting content they find objectionable. I suspect if the poster said he was of age when he got ab account and then posted that he was 14 that it would be very expensive to design an algorithm to catch that. On Craigslist people use numbers and written numbers to fool auto number harvesting programs. Another thing people do is post a photograph of their information. The danger in shutting down an objectionable site is every liberal could use the same laws to shut down conservative sites.
