I voted in person in Texas today. As I entered the building, a woman was leaving. She said they made her get her mail-in ballot before she could vote in person. Somebody in the line told you have to request a mail in ballot to receive one, She said if you are over 65 they automatically send you a ballot. That is completely false for Texas.
