Mediaite has learned that Fox News was first approached by Rudy Giuliani to report on a tranche of files alleged to have come from Hunter Biden’s unclaimed laptop left at a Delaware computer repair shop, but that the news division chose not to run the story unless or until the sourcing and veracity of the emails could be properly vetted.

Fox actually verified with 2 sources that the emails are real. Saw it reported once. It kind of went down the memory hole.
The first question they’d want answered: “Is anybody really so stupid as to leave a laptop loaded with incriminating photos with a complete stranger for repair?”
I think it’s unfortunate that we have to be suspicious of any FR account that was created after Trump’s inauguration day.

BS. They passed on the story because they didn’t want to lose all of the Joe Biden advertising dollars on Fox News and Fox Network. It’s all about the ad bribes.
I’m not Sherlock Holmes, but I could authenticate or debunk the contents of this computer in one hour. If it was a couple of emails, I could understand concern. But my understanding is that there are 40K emails, videos, DMs, social media, etc that are on this computer. I’m suspicious that FoxNews would pass on this story.
With that said, I wish someone other than Rudy G. would have released this stuff. Sorry, but Rudy comes across as a buffoon. This computer/material should have been given to the Wall St. Journal or some more reputable source than the NY Post.

Let’s be clear. If Guliani and Bannon weren’t driving this story, nobody would. The facts will ultimately decide the matter, not the personalities.
NY Post isn’t getting millions in Biden ad dollars like Fox News and Fox Network.

Totally agree. I'm making it a point not to stay on Newsmax and OAN unless I'm watching Tucker and or Laura. I still like Hannity also but he is getting to me with the 99 percent of the FBI is pure as the driven snow nonsense. Logic tells us that is simply impossible.
Actually, I’d rather they not run the story unless it could be independently verified. There’s too much bs in the media now. With bloggers and “independent “ press taking to the internet, speculation abounds and journalistic standards are non-existent.
As for Wallace, it was my understanding that Scully had a good reputation in DC as a fair journalist in spite of his political leanings. Wallace stood up for him after Scully asserted his account was hacked. He, Wallace, had no reason to doubt it until Scully admitted to the act.
I’m no fan of Wallace, but I can see how he may have been duped.

Well I guess Tucker Carlson believed it and Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity, Judge Janine and Mark Levin these are the only ones I watch on Fox oh and Jesse Watters so I would say Fox is running with the story.

I'm a big fan of Gutfield too. I also love the morning bunch a lot . . . generally very fair treatment of Trump. Jessie Waters is pretty good too.

The same Chris Wallace who didn’t have a problem asking President Trump bout his tax returns that the NYT said they have? Even though it would be a felony if they had them.

Not true the story is alive but you need to watch Tucker Carlson who just happens to have the best ratings.
