Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to remove him. Our options are to quit giving the Church money (already doing that) or leave.

God will still hold regular Catholics accountable for not standing up for what is true. There have been popular revolts before and better leaders put in charge. Catholics don’t have to get rid of the hierarchical system, just get rid of the obviously defective leaders who are in power now. They need to insist on more spiritual leaders.
