Charlie Brown holiday specials will not air on TV

You won't see the Great Pumpkin flying over the public airwaves this year.
"It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" can only be seen on Apple TV.
On television this year, you're out of luck, according to Apple TV+ and WildBrain.
The Halloween special will be streaming for free from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1.
"A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" will be available for purchase on Nov. 18. After that, fans can watch the annual Thanksgiving special free of charge from Nov. 25 until Nov. 27.
The streaming service will launch “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” on Dec. 4. The holiday special will be available to enjoy for free from Dec. 11 until Dec. 13.

Lately, I’ve been indulging on 1970s commercial on YouTube. A YouTube channel has hundreds of them, and for basic escapism (which is why most people watch tv), they are wonderful.
They are also a window into a starkly different, better culture. It’s very refreshing.

I loved these specials when I was a child. And Linus’ recitation of Scripture at the end of the Christmas special is truly... well, special.

Yes, I have a copy. I have owned copies in many formats over the years. This is still a sad, sad time.
Very disappointed. It borders on Cancel Culture to me.

If you have Roku, look for the ultra hokey Real People.
There is a YouTube channel last I looked with clips.
