To me the Republican Party is dead. I’m with them as long as Trump is still there trying to perform CPR on the corpse. If the DS/RINO coalition somehow allows this election to be stolen, I’m pretty much open to any new political entity that actually fights back.

NYT needs to change it’s name to BTT behind the times the democrat party died in 2016.
March 20, 1854 the Republican Party was founded. Approximately 3 years before that, the New York Times was founded on September 18, 1851.
Given it’s financial condition, and it’s endorsement and love affair with socialism, I predict the New York Times will not see it’s 200th anniversary in 34 years and I predict that the Republican Party will.
I remember that. Their mantra was “This party could not return a sitting President to office”. They based their “GOP Dies” bromide on that (never mind that Gerald Ford was never elected to the presidency). Four years later, Carter got swept out by Reagan and somehow the “could not return a sitting President to office” mantra was never applied to the ‘Rat defeat.
I think Trump will win, but I also think democrats will steal the election, and call it a “mandate” or try very hard.
They have kept their slaves as as voting block.
If Trump loses the statement will be correct as all of America will die.

The problems going forward will test all parties. Debt, globalization, ai, immigration, automation, taxes, welfare, etc. A Trump defeat would probably splinter the GOP. Those problems will have solutions that many don’t want or try to fix.
Some people just like to hear the sound of their own voice.
