MADISON - The U.S. Supreme Court upheld Wisconsin's voting laws Monday, rejecting an effort to require the counting of absentee ballots that are sent back to election officials on or just before Election Day.
The court's 5-3 ruling means that absentee ballots will be counted only if they are in the hands of municipal clerks by the time polls close Nov. 3.

WOO HOO
YES!
And now with Barrett in, maybe something can be done about other states, too.
Excellent...and it becomes precedent. Yes??
Apparently Roberts came through on this one.
This have been an excellent Monday. It’s been like all your favorite teams win on the same day with no disappointments.
Roberts knew that a tie would be resubmitted after Amy got seated.
Probably not precedent. I am no lawyer but if I recall the Bush v Gore cases were 9-0 on one issue, 7-2 on another issue and 5-4 on the third issue (all in Bush’s favor) but it is not precedent for other cases.
Pennsylvania you’re next.
Roberts must not have understood the question, and accidentally voted correctly.
“...and it becomes precedent. Yes??...”

Actually, this ruling is based on the precedent
of the 2000 Bush vs. Gore decision.
Why can’t they do the same in Pennsylvania and every other state? What in the world is the problem?
Is this a schadenfreude day for the ages or what ? !
The seditious left has my whole-hearted and eternal enmity !
They will after 9pm EST tonight.
How can they square this with their 4-4 PA ruling, allowing ballots to be counted even if received 6 days after the election? Looks like Roberts was the flip. With ACB on her way, maybe Roberts knows the gig is up?
Thank you God.
yet they ruled 4-4 to uphold changes made to the law by the PA court for counting postmarked ballots after Nov 3 here in PA ?
I just asked that same question just 3 days ago they ruled AGAINST us in PA. for the same damn thing!! I am VERY CONFUSED!!
So why the hell did they let PA get away with murder?
