I don’t think people quiet grasp that the constitution leaves it up the the state’s and specifically the states legislature to define how and when to certify their electors. The federal government has no set him how The states run their own elections the constitutionally mandated date for the state’s to send their electors is Dec 14th this year. States can if their laws allow it count until then.

“Monday after the second Wednesday in December of presidential election years is set (3 U.S.C. §7) as the date on which the electors meet and vote.”

That’s the relevant passage.

Yes yes - but its the House and Senate races which will determine the shape of the presidency to come. If rats take both, then, if elected, DJT is pretty much a lame duck for the next 4 years. If rats take both, then, if elected, Harris will destroy the USA. The election is about much more than POTUS
