People loved the silver tongued Obama. He could lie with
the best of them. The Clintons had nothing on him when it
came to lying. It didn’t matter that he consorted with
terrorists, race baited at the drop of a hat, and tried
to destroy our relationships with our long term allies.
Never mind the economy in the toilet. Never mind his
allies taking to the streets to tear down this nation.
Trump is a bit crass with his tweets. Never mind that he
played hardball with our allies ant strengthened NATO.
Never mind the tax cuts. Never mind him bringing back
manufacturing jobs. Never the economy that seemingly
can’t be hurt despite every other entity in the nation
trying to do just that to stop Trump. Never mind that
he moved our embassy to Jerusalem, and has three Arab
nations signing peace papers with Israel. His biggest
fault is that he has done exactly what he promised to
do.

Rolling Stone has emasculated itself way back when, when a rock and roll magazine “went urban”.
But he is true to himself and expects journalists to be held to account.
Their politics still suck and so do their tastes in contemporary music (then and now).
It's funny to read the compendium of their 1970s album reviews when they gave AC/DC and the Police each 1 star or 0 star reviews for their debut albums.
And in the more modern era they put Justin Beiber on the cover at least 3 times, plus the Boston bombing jihadist.
Joe Biden was turned down in several presidential primaries early on.
This time around he faced Bernie Sanders who again changed his party affiliation to run as the Democrat candidate and again was blocked out by the Democrat machine.
Yeah, Taibbi is one of the few (Bill Maher, Julian Assange, Oliver Stone) willing to fire shots in both directions. Well, Bill Maher it’s more like firing rubber bands, but—)
If he self identifies as an eagles wearing grandmom, who are we to say otherwise.

If it was an honest political/music magazine they would put on a cover blub that John Lydon/Rotten has openly endorsed Donald Trump, defended him against an abusive press, and opposes all California Democrats.

I couldn't find any evidence of that online.
I must have confused him with someone else. He did write a really good article on the spy scam though. Back in August I believe.
His punch line is that he can’t vote for “these people” (Democrats in their current incarnation), even against Trump. He’s not happy about it. The concluding paragraph of his piece didn’t spell out whether that means he’s voting for Trump, for a third party candidate, or not at all.
