Anyone who wants a place in GOP politics going forward had better back Trump or stay silent. Trump’s popularity among GOP voters runneth over. Anyone publicly against Trump should prepare for a future primary challenge. Chris Christie and Mitt Romney are done in GOP politics.
I guess you haven’t seen the news today. Knives out from all the usual suspects today. Romney, Toomey, Dan Crenshaw, Graham (Biden cabinet talk) and Adam Kinzinger off the top of my head. I’m sure there are more but you should get the point. The GOPe are dunking on us and couldn’t care less what we think. We just reelected Collins and Graham and they know most GOP voters will happily vote for any garbage they put on our ballot.
Two can play that game. Our side has most of the veterans . They are the ones who need to be scared.

President Trump set up a meeting with black leaders of business and local politics to listen to their genuine concerns. 95% refused, swore about him, slandered him and fought him. Called him a white racist despite decades of his hiring and promoting black people in his many top business tiers. Online slideshows show about 100 or so black pastors, business leaders, Rev. Jackson hugging him, boxers, NFL stars, other celebrities and friends. Used to be a beloved pal, including having Bill & Hillary at his wedding. Then: We hate you.
At the Republic National Convention he said "to the LGBTQ community, you have nothing to fear from me. Nothing to fear." They attacked him daily and called him a homophobe.
Appeasement from us Deplorables will not work. Kindness will not go over well. "Love your enemy" "sell your cloak" "turn the other cheek" and others will not work.
The Left did this; not us.
That's right. Freshman congressmen have little if any security detail. Just a retinue of staffers and assistants.
