Pennsylvania’s GOP have filed an emergency injunction with the U.S. Supreme Court in a bid to block state officials from taking any action on mail-in ballots received after Election Day as Joe Biden comes within striking distance of the White House.
The writ filed on Friday afternoon is the latest installment in a legal tug of war after Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court last month granted a three-day extension for mail-in ballot counting — a decision that SCOTUS upheld.
Pennsylvania’s Secretary of State has ordered that late-arriving ballots be segregated until further notice, but Republicans claim there is no way to know whether all 67 county boards of elections were doing so.

I think we all know what the answer will be.
No, nothing is futile. Pres. Trump needs to give the GOP controlled legislature the optics/cover they need to appoint the GOP slate of electors.
That’s interesting. Hopefully, that’ll get the Supreme Court to overturn its previous decision letting Wolf’s idiot 3-day edict stand.
On the other hand, if this is about postmarks, I’m not sure it will do that much, since the USPS has apparently got that wrinkle well in hand — see James O’Keefe’s USPS backdating videos.
Earlier in the day the said they would not get involved. Methinks now the miracle ballots are affecting their legislative majority and now they’re ready to fight!
Supremes say that states have to follow rules set up for voting by state legislatures.
Not election officials.
Not state courts.
PA was required to finish the counting by 8 pm and didn’t. All votes after that are tossed out. Invalid votes. Trump wins.

SCOTUS never really did deny the review request. They turned down the original expedition request... basically saying they would not hear it before the election.

Maybe Roberts will do like he does nearly all 2nd amendment cases............decide not to even take the case. Hence, President Biden.
Seriously, what precludes a justice just deciding not to hear a case? I understand frivolousness, but justice ignored is justice denied.

This is such a no-brainer. The actions of Governor Wolf and his state Supreme Court were clearly unconstitutional. This has been returned without action twice due to technicalities. SCOTUS has no excuse not to act here.
