Show that they are good little slaves.
Nazis make raids, like in the Warsaw Ghetto. Papers please.
As to wearing masks in one’s home, well that could lead to some interesting role playing with the wife, but seriously, she and I share bacteria and virus's, so if one of us gets it the other likely will as well.
It has to make you wonder about Inslee’s home life if he believes this stuff.
Infections have quadrupled in Illinois during the last couple of weeks. What is the cause of this drastic change? People didn't suddenly stop wearing masks and social distancing. This reenforces my opinion that face diapers aren't effective.
Talk about health insurance.
Yeth indeed!
Screw Biden. I don’t wear a mask when I go to the store and I’m damn sure NOT going to wear one at home!
Multiple variables go into the equations that describe how a virus will spread. Mitigation is one set of variables. Weather is another. And so on. These variables then run into exponents. In a simplified version of all this the combined effect of all the variables results in the infection rate, Rt (infectivity at any given time.) IL is primarily suffering (with regard to cases) from, quite plainly, “fall”, and perhaps somewhat from mitigation fatigue. Additionally, other viral respiratory diseases with similar symptoms to COVID-19 ramp up in the fall, causing more testing, and, naturally, more positive COVID-19 cases are turned up. There may be some instances of regularly tested persons, health care workers, for example, seeing even more testing, but my wife and I have numerous friends and acquaintances in that field, and we are not hearing of a lot of that last.
So, basically, “it’s the season”. However, the effect on Rt of mitigation did not go away. The ACTUAL effect of fall might be a 8x increase in cases, sans mitigation, and mitigation might be a 0.5x” that brought the total increase down to the 4x you cite.
The discussion then turns to the costs / benefits of the mitigation, and IMO should also turn to the ham handed way the mitigation is being handled by much of government. Less could be more, and needs to be, because the costs have done heavy damage already, and are just not sustainable...
Yes common sense says you shouldn’t share toothbrushes, eye drops or nose sprays lol. ugh. I use them in the fall when it gets really stuffy. Have year round allergic rhinitis.
You are right :) It’s 1000 IU’s. I confused it with the B12 I’m also taking. Level was 30 I believe a few months after the RX dose last year so not optimum, right at the lower end of sufficient. Asked Dr about that and he didn’t seem concerned. Said just take the 1000 per day but I’d like to get it higher.
No prob. I’ll update as needed.
Illinois has required masks to enter businesses and public buildings for quite some time, so everybody is use to the routine. Infection rates were relatively steady until a few weeks ago. Since practically no one adheres to mask guidelines, I wonder if the improper use of masks is part of the problem..
If you're sick, as with any seasonal flu stay home until you get better.
If you're too frightened to be around other people or if you're afraid that you'll infect people (you know, that you'll "spread the virus" like some politician said you would) even though you're not sick and have no symptoms, then stay away ... go haunt somebody else's home. I will not allow your irrational fears to impact normal people who visit my home.
I am already ready to throw out Biden and he hasn’t even won anything.
Great graphic at the link!
Nope. Big government can piss off.
