Actually it would be a very good idea for President Trump to award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to the Robinsons.I would support that all the way; Jim and John have kept this wonderful forum going for 23 years through thick and thin. Not many have the passion, drive and perseverance to make this happen day in and day out.

Well, I suspect the worst of the migration battle is conquered and it it surely is a relief to you and the tech warriors Yea!
I was once the admin for a board similar in operating format to Free Republic. We had 1 or 2 major shifts such as this one and I certainly recall the mumble, mumble things the techs had to track down and the repeated queries to the server sideâs support trying to decrypt what changed on their end besides the debug on our end to match us up.
What fun.... Not!

I don’t often muck around with configurations but when I do the key knowledge I previously learned was changed by some update requiring new and improved learning. That in itself isn’t bad, it is quite healthy, but having to hit the books while the building is on fire is a bit frustrating.

All of us who work in IT, slaving over hot servers (most of which have Apache on 'em and I know exactly what you mean about the mods-enabled...), eyeballs going crossed staring at logfiles....
