Ping!
See you in the catacombs.
We live in Orwell’s dark nightmare
Time to look for a conservative platform.
Cloudways.com
SendInBlue.com
This is what happens when a handful of globalist corporations are not responsibly smacked down or broken up when they get too big. And sadly too many conservatives defend their first amendment “right to free speech” over individual right to free speech.
Why? So we can all talk to ourselves while the other side gets to reach billions of people?
But at least we have a platform.
That first one, cloudaways, puts your content on Amazon or Google or some other platform. When those providers deplatform you, you are done. The second one is a mass emailer. Nobody other than a business do anything with that.
In the digital age this is the equivalent of being forced to close and move your business.
Make the things ‘public utilities’ like phone companies.
Yeah. Dang, this is some esoteric excrement.
Cloudways manages cloud hosting services besides AWS and Google Cloud. You can also choose Digital Ocean, Vultr, or Linode. (Vultr gives you the most speed for the buck).
SendInBlue is a replacement for Mail Chimp, the service mentioned in the article. If you’re worried about personal email try Proton Mail.
To win a war, there must be blood spilled.
Absent blood all we value is lost forever
Denying the war is to accept being eaten by lions on the arena floor
The Great Purge has begun. Normal people will lose their website hosting, their publishing rights and posting rights.
Everything they published or posted will be scrutinized, going back 5 years, and the normal people will be further harassed.
dems are getting revenge.
Wasn’t the Free Republic platform decoupled?
Ok thanks for the explanation. There's no indication that sendinblue will be any different from mailchimp. They could pull the plug just as easily.
As for the servers and applications that's fine if you just need a virtual server with some apps. I know vultr has bare metal and maybe some of the others do too. But if you aren't on bare metal and get hit with DDOS like FR does, they will pull you off their virtual server in a heartbeat to protect their other customers.
No, FR's server was at a datacenter and the datacenter was shut down and moved to a new location.
