Journalist tests Nevada voter-signature verification, finds 89% failure rate

A journalist who tested Nevada's signature verification process for mail-in ballots found that the state is wide open for fraud.

Columnist Victor Joecks of the Las Vegas Review-Journal conducted his experiment noting that the issue is deeper than any single contest.

"Leave aside the presidential race. Even small amounts of fraud can swing results," he wrote, pointing to a race where a state senator won an election by 24 votes.

Joecks said in his piece Thursday that he proved a voter could vote many times.

"Clark County election officials accepted my signature on eight ballot return envelopes during the general election. It’s more evidence that signature verification is a flawed security measure," he wrote, saying the assurances from elections officials that the process was secure were so much puffery.

Here in NYS, we signed in on a screen....(like at a checkout)...and it would be impossible to match with my original signature.

I'm in Upstate NY so my vote didn't mean much.

There are some other articles which describe what it took to cause the signature checks to fail: The tester drew horizontal lines omitting letters. It failed to detect printed versions as different from cursive signatures.

The article says he proved he could vote many times.

I’m not certain, but I think this is the story where he showed that signatures aren’t being verified, not that he could vote multiple times.

He signed several voters’ names in his own handwriting and then had the other eight or so voters sign their mail-in ballot sleeve by copying what he had written for their names. The signature verification system approved all of their bogus signatures. I believe he submitted his own with just his two initials followed by straight lines and that one didn’t go through.

The point being that the signatures aren’t really being verified, not that he was able to cast nine ballots under his own name. What he did was legal because the other eight voters were voting their own ballots, but with manipulated signatures.

To the socialists, that’s not a bug but a feature.

When I sign on a screen there usually 2-3 letters that are identifiable as letters, the rest is a scrawl.

There are so many reports of lost and found ballots, misappropriated ballots and illegal ballots that the election will have to be done over after covid with no mail in voting. It was a catastrophe.

Do the Supreme Court justices follow the news, or do they keep themselves isolated? It seems if they were following all the stories of voter fraud and incompetence it might influence their decisions.

Which means the signature portion is a farce and technically, it's an illegal vote.

They should have you sign a piece of paper and let the machine read it. Then give the paper bearing the timely signature back to the signer.

They’re human, I assume they are well aware and dreading the moment when this mess is going to be dropped at their feet. Well, 4-5 of them are. There are at least three whom we all know DGAF.

Partner, the DemonRats have been doing this for years and we previously had not done one thing or even complained about this Bravo Sierra.

We are hoping that President Trump does not concede to the idiot Biden since President Trump won the election overwhelmingly by a landslide.

Sidney Powell has turned out some evidence that Dominion used the voting software in Venezuela of all places and this is how Chavez and Maduro got into power.

They brought this Piece of Work software to the U.S.

Actually and not surprisingly they are supposed to follow the LAW. We shall see.
