Dumb mistake on my part. Tested in Chrome, Brave, Edge, and should work everywhere else.

Firefox still requires a new login every time I open it.
Yes, a cookie is present. No history clearing. Just closing and reopening a window requires a new login.

My Brave browser no longer shows a “red” padlock, even though it was “https.”

Is this still happening? It seems like you’re getting a temporary (session only) cookie which is meant for public terminals.

Yes, still happening on Firefox 82.0.2. hitting the bookmark forces a login. FR cookie is present.
