EO’s are pretty much sand castles, washed away so easily.

Obama’s DOCA EO seems to be made of granite.

Touché

Obama was on the right trajectory, Trump, not so much.

I wish Trump would smash Nixon’s EPA EO, I love clean air and clean water, but not communism, and that’s just the door that the EPA cracks open.

Most of the younger people don’t see the double edged sword, they only see the sword swinging one way, and that’s slaying their monsters.

Monsters they’ve been raised on- cartoons, games, school, etc.

Re: "Obama's DACA EO seems to be made of granite."

Only if you are Donald Trump.

The first two judges who reviewed Trump's "end DACA" Executive Order said that Trump could write a new DACA policy any time he wanted to.

Specifically - Trump could have declared all DACAs to be unlawfully present in the USA, and then order the Secretary of Homeland Security to remove them.

Since that E.O. would be a direct quote from the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 (passed by Congress over a Truman veto), a federal court could not even review that E.O. (according to the exact language in the Administrative Procedure Act).

The final judge who reviewed the "end DACA" E.O. asked Trump what difference it made since Trump had already publicly declared - on several occasions - that he (Trump) would not deport any DACAs unless they were dangerous criminals.

From beginning to end, Trump's "end DACA" E.O. was just political theater.
