Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp certified the state's presidential election results Friday in favor of President-elect Joe Biden -- but called for another audit of the votes.

Kemp told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution it was “completely unacceptable” that stashes of thousands of uncounted ballots were found in several counties during the manual hand recount after the initial results.

After the hand recount, President Trump gained 888 votes, shrinking Biden’s lead slightly to 12,670 votes.

Am I correct in thinking that thia is to keep the judge from throwing out the whole election or certain districts because the argument can be made that “its still being investigated, so wait and see.” In the meantime Biden is the winner, ect.

Yes, audit the ballots and report back if you find out-of-district ballots in your voting machine. There will likely be bundle together and easily identifiable by having the wrong candidates for your district.

Could very well be. Its either certify the fraudulent election, or have the case go to the court system, with its endless appeals and postponements, only to have it come down to this: a pile of evidence laid out before a judge or court, and have them decide. And that decision is very unlikely to be overturn the election, which the courts have historically been reluctant to do. More likely they'll just punt. Say something like “Yes, we see the evidence of fraud, but we don't have the power (courage) to throw out the election and have a do-over.”

The 'Rats know that time is on their side. They'll play stall ball until Biden (Harris) is sworn in. Then the Constitution allows only a very limited set of options for removing him (her). And none of those is likely to happen.
