I care for my family, my nation, my President, my friends, and for our people.
That is also what the Christian is commanded to do in the Bible. The Bible also teaches that this earth is not our final home, we are a soul (we have a body), and that prophecy is true.
The two (earthly matters and heavenly matters) are not mutually exclusive.
