I suspect it is because they are taking two paths. One with Powell and her team and the other with Ellis and her team. Ellis’ group officially represents the President and Powell represents...?? herself? a group of voters? Or maybe some poll watchers. I’m not sure. But, Powell is an intelligent lady, and the President is an smart man, so I’m sure there is some type of plan here. For them to release this statement shows some type of coordinated plan.
Agree. Since Powell represents Flynn, by being distinct from Trump she likely can pursue avenues that Trump can’t or won’t pursue. Via Flynn she may be receiving interesting info via backchannel. Let’s see what develops this week. Remember Gore fought for 37 days.
