Yup, I’m 75 and remember when our neighbor got the first color tv in the hood. Would have us over for color specials which were Disney productions as I recall. Then, the first weekly show in color was Bonanza. Was a big deal....
I recall reading that Walt Disney was a very heavy smoker, but when he did the introduction to the Sunday evening shows, he put away the ashtrays and lighters and cigarettes and anything else that might indicate he smoked as to not have the kids know about that.
