Despite Sidney Powell appearing with President Trump's campaign lawyers at news conferences through last week, the Trump campaign suddenly distanced itself Sunday evening from the high-profile attorney who has vowed to file lawsuits of "biblical" proportions to expose vote fraud in the 2020 election.
In a statement from Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani and Trump legal adviser Jenna Ellis, the team said: "Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity."

WTH! Throwing the best thing we have going, under the bus. Why are they doing this?! To give the Left more confidence, while sowing doubt among Patriots? Stabbing Sydney Powell in the back is stabbing Trump voters and his supporters in the back. Have these people lost their minds? This is totally insane!
Jenna Ellis and President Trump both placed numerous Tweets that listed Sydney Powell as part of their team. Sydney Powell reminds me of Margret Thatcher, our own America’s Iron Lady. At 6’ tall, towering over everyone at that news conference. Was little Rudy’s ego hurt because she was getting all the star attention and praise?
Lin Wood posted this an hour ago in response to this statement:
“Sidney Powell & I are more alike than we are different. We are fighting different legal battles for the same clients - We The People. The People voted overwhelmingly to re-elect DonaldTrump. All interests are aligned.”
Trump is dividing his forces for two separate coordinated attacks. This is a very smart move.
I bet there will be some that show up that havent already seen the many posts about it.

No connection to Trump isn’t bad from a legal stance. But the media won’t differentiate.
I suppose it’s better than a string of anecdotal anti-abortion article posts...
The Trump people had no choice. She was turning up on scores of TV outlets daily talking about all this evidence she had and making astonishing claims of criminality. But as of today, there has been no filing from her at all. Nobody forces you onto TV - that’s elective. But that’s all she and Lin Wood have been doing for the last two weeks: making astonishing claims on television. So the Trump campaign was taking a lot of heat because she kept saying she had all this evidence pouring in - “firehose” - and not one single filing as yet so that evidence can be seen.
She and Wood should just shut up, stay off TV and if they have what they say they have - great. File thesuits and let’s see it. We’re grown ups and we can judge it on the merits ourselves. She and Wood need to put up, or shut up.

But why is this even an issue now? WHY are these statements being made?

That can’t possibly be true. You simply did not look.
Jordan Sekulow said that there would be a federal lawsuit filed tomorrow or Tuesday regarding Georgia and that it included things that weren’t covered in the press conference. I have a feeling that they see the Dominion software case as a distraction from their immediate legal strategy and will let Sidney go after that on her own. In the meantime, another lawsuit has been filed in PA, led by PA congressman Mike Kelly. You have to remember that a large part of the strategy here is to gum up the works and to create doubt about the election results. I don’t see anything ominous here. I do notice that they Daily Caller has adopted the mainstream media’s line that “no evidence has been submitted”.
I wonder if accusing a Republican governor of accepting bribes a month before his state has two elections that will determine control of the Senate has anything to do with it.
