Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul told Fox News’ “Outnumbered Overtime” Monday that he wants to convince Georgia libertarians to vote Republican in the upcoming U.S. Senatorial election runoffs.
Republican Georgia Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler face a January 5 runoff against Democratic challengers Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock in order to keep their jobs in the Senate and maintain GOP control.
“One of the things that I’ve taken upon myself is to try to encourage – there was a little over 100,000 people who voted for Shane Hazel, the libertarian candidate, and I think those people can find a place and reason to vote for Republicans,” Paul said.
Paul went on to cite issues like packing the Supreme Court, doing away with tax cuts, and statehood for the District of Columbia as issues that “most people in Georgia will be worried about.”
“Look, I get fed up with Republicans not spending money wisely and adding to our debt, but they are better than the Democrats, even if only sometimes marginally so,” he said. “But on some things, like packing the court and D.C. statehood, Republicans will help protect the country from all branches of government being controlled by the Democrats.”
“So I think there is some argument some of these hundred thousand libertarians to actually vote Republican and I’m gonna be sending some time trying to encourage them to vote Republican in the runoff,” Paul concluded.
BUMP
He’s the best Senator.
Hey Rand, it’s about Dominion software, not who votes. Please get a clue.
Very good! Not only the money, but encouraging the libertarians not to elect Democrat senators by failing to vote for the GOP. Libertarians may not agree with Trump or the GOP 100% of the time, but they certainly have nothing to gain by putting the Dems in charge.
So what is your suggestion? Not voting?
Look, we have to work on every front. Nothing wrong with this.
If that were completely correct, no conservative would ever win an election where Dominion is used.
There have to be constraints on their ability to use fraud, or we would not have a Republican Senate confirming over 200 originalist judges in the past 3.5 years.
Rand is correct, but Lbt motivation is the question.
I pray the Republicans hold the Senate. If they don’t the Democrats will marginalize the Supreme Court and rig the country so nobody but a Democrat will ever be President.
Besides the all-time thrill of gaining power by stealing our elections, insiders are making a bundle on Dominion deals.
CASE IN POINT: Texas had already reported it was vulnerable to manipulation, yet Georgia Governor Kemp and
Secy of State Raffensperger spent more than $100 million tax dollars for the notoriously flawed Dominion software.
Why? Because the kickback on $100 mill is enormous........
(HAT TIP THINDEN: the Dominion deals resemble Obama-era Madison Guarantee/Savings Loan crisis on steroids, as follows:
<><> Bigtime US govt handouts grants (and IMF loans like the $5bill to Ukraine) are made to “friendly” countries.......
<><> plus loans, handouts, govt purchases, and grants go to hand-picked entities and/or corporations...
<><> for public consumption, “straw man” entities go belly up & default....
<><> but the real money is moving through several stops on the way to Cyprus, off-shore banks, etc, for laundering...
<><> the laundered funds are then split among the usual cast of greedsters waiting in line to cash in:
.........Congressmen, Soros, The Clinton Foundation, Obama, Hunter Biden and the rest of the Biden Crime Family, etc.....
I believe you are correct. Libertarian caused the run off between Perdue and Ossoff. They had better back Perdue!
I think you're wrong. There were some votes stolen by Dominion software, but most of the fraud was in the mail-in voting.
The democrat party is white liberal 'elites' propped up by the criminal underclass plus a few entrenched 'victim groups'... The election will come down to voter fraud.
I was a democrat for many years - and a democrat precinct person...
Traditionally voter fraud is ONLY done in close races. The reason for that is they don’t want to get caught. In 2018 every congressional seat that was ‘too close to call’ in the polls went to democrats. Did that strike you as odd?
If democrats had been stealing races where everyone know the Republican was waaaaay ahead, they would have been caught years ago.
Libertarians in Georgia better get smart real quick about this. The question is: where do you want to be in 3 years? If President Trump emerges victorious, Libertarians should at least want his judges to continue getting confirmed. President Trump’s judges are their judges. If Joe Biden ends up as president, then the last thing you want is a united Congress behind him, because that will turn ugly in a hurry.
Get smart quick, Libertarians! I get there are things you dislike about the GOP, and you’re not alone! But Joe Biden and the Democrats will do a whole lot more things you don’t like if they have the Senate!
I think you’re wrong. There were some votes stolen by Dominion software, but most of the fraud was in the mail-in voting.
Agree. And it was on a massive scale. PA just boggles the mind.
I pray the Republicans hold the Senate. If they don’t the Democrats will marginalize the Supreme Court and rig the country so nobody but a Democrat will ever be President.
Why? Lindsay Graham was just fine with Hillary and her SCOTUS winning in 2016. It was a Trump judge who gave Trannies protections under the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
GOP voters should care about a GOP Senate exactly as much as a the GOP Senate cared about stopping the coup. That would be not at all. We’re in an abusive relationship with the GOP and it needs to end.
Unless the GOP cheats like the DNC, the Dems will take both Senate seats in GA.
If they don’t fix the fraud for Trump, why would they for Senate seats?
Without the senate we will never find out what happen with that voting system. Not to mention we will never win another significant election again.
