Best Gore closed. it document all the horror like this. I found it in 2012 looking for Muslim terrorist’s videos. By 2020 Muslim’s video’s were but one kind of content. beatings, crashes, fights, stabbings, suicide, cartels, others gruesome videos were used. It had even injuries.
Five things happened:
1. Owner arrested on indecency content. He was from Saskatchewan and spent 2 years in jail before charges dropped.
2. A new owner took over and said it was tough maintaining the site as they got lots of content and it cost a lot to run. In 2015 site closed. But then quickly reopened as the new owner and former owner struck deal to co-run the place. They had been moving the server to another host. That meant older videos on site quit working and never returned. Site started in 2007.
3. So they got a new host for videos that ran till the end of the site. IN May 2018 the original owner stated it was a chore doing the site and he could get fined at anytime. So he slowly began to stop running the site. Other guy and his buddies took over more. They said the site was bankrupt in early 2019. The original said site was up for sale in 2019 and announced he was gone for good. A new civil lawsuit came in October 2019 and by March 2020nthe site said it was ending this year. In August the update was that it closing soon and could not afford the lawsuit. Some user thought the lawsuit bankrupted the site or an agreement included closing the site. On September 15th the site closed.
Just read on reddit’s farewell to Best Gore that a new site was found with a somewhat similar content called Hoodsite.
