Didn't know it was still there. I used to have some work there and received permission to use the Grumman airport. (I also got virtual concierge service door-to-door to whatever building my meeting was in. It sure beat the shuttle service from and to the visitors center!) It also beat driving on the GWB & Cross Bronx! And it was sort of kicky to have a fire truck track you down the runway on the takeoff for home.

We're down to one building and less than 600 people. I now report to a project manager in California.
I'll probably retire in 2021.
The Grumman runway is all gone. The Bethpage mail distribution center where those ballots were sent from, is one of many new industries that are now located where the runway used to be.
