Sad news. Walter was a great intellect and he could explain things in ways anyone could understand. RIP.

Damn. Before he gained national prominence as a beloved fill-in host for Rush he was an occasional panelist on a local Philly version of Crossfire called 'Issues and Answers'. The format called for three liberals and one token conservative and most of the token conservatives were firmly GOPe hacks. Except for Williams. He shredded the lefties, laughing the whole time. I tuned in every Sunday to see if he was on and if so, I was watching.

RIP, Dr Williams.

Mr. Williams was a shining intellect, and a leading example of how Democrats and the self-proclaimed “black leadership” despise independent thinking black people. He should have been revered by the black community for his integrity and accomplishments, instead of being denigrated by the leftist plantation owners as another “Uncle Tom”. The black community will never achieve freedom until they embrace people like Walter Williams, and reject the hate and race mongering of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Obama, and Kamala Harris, and everyone connected with BLM, Antifa and the Democratic Party.

It's terrible to lose such a great man when we need him the most. Prayers for him and his family.

I've used a quote from him as my tagline for many years.

The fraudulent election was too much for him. I know the feeling.

For those like me who needed to be reminded about Mr. Williams: Walter Edward Williams, 84 y/o, dob 3,31, 36, was an American economist and academic. He was the John Olin Distinguished Prof. of Economics at George Mason University, as well as a syndicated columnist and author known for his classical liberal and libertarian views. He was black.

**I had forgotten because I now rarely listen to talk shows on the radio. Ten years ago, it was different. More conservative programs back then. I am speaking of terrestrial radio, not digital. Now, near zero in Bay Area.

I heard him speak at college over 25 years ago. Can you imagine a conservative speaker and there not being riots in protest? There were plenty of problems in the 80’s and 90’s but back then some leftists were okay with freedom of speech, unlike today. Anyway, after Williams spoke he stayed around for 30 minutes and talked with those of us who had questions or wanted to talk.

God bless and keep his soul. This world has lost a very wise man. Loved listening to him when he sat in for Rush Limbaugh and loved his book More Liberty Means Less Government
