Rep. Cedric Richmond said the refusal of the vast majority of GOP members of Congress to recognize presumptive President-elect Joseph R. Biden as the winner of the 2020 race underscores how President Trump has “absolutely neutered” the Republican Party.
During an appearance on CNN, Mr. Richmond, who Mr. Biden tapped as a senior adviser in the White House Office of Public Engagement, was asked to weigh in on a Washington Post report that found that 27 out of the 249 Republicans in the House and Senate acknowledged Mr. Biden won the election.

“President Trump has ‘absolutely neutered’ the Republican Party.”
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
In truth, the GOP neutered itself and had no clue how to handle an alpha male running the shoe.
Trump cares about America and the Constitution, The GOP DOES NOT!
RINO’s have been neutered, those of us who are loyal conservative Republicans have been invigorated and encouraged by President Trump.
Eh, Cedric, my old chap, The GOP does a fairly good job of neutering themselves.
Rinos took an self-neutering class in which they excelled- Seems Cedric was head of the class?
Can’t neuter what you DON’T HAVE!!!!
In reality it is the exact opposite.
Not to be obtuse, but please remember the words Conservative and Republican are not synonymous.
George Washington was right about political parties.
Neuter away, Mr. President.
Lay waste to both.
That should read
Rinos and liberals took a self-neutering class in which they all excelled- Seems Cedric was head of the class?
I think the GOP was neutered a couple of decades ago.
I don’t even considered DJT a Republican. Conservative, OK... in some respects, progressive in others.
Maybe its time to consider a Pragmatic party, one that would actually read and understand proposed legislation and which would not read the intern notes on the floor and expect adulation from the peanut gallery.
Agree. PDJT isn’t a Republican. He’s a nationalist and maybe that should be the name of the new party.
People are annoyed by the so called media and the cheating DNC.
Trump called them out, on their lack of caring for the United
States’ citizens and our nation as a whole.
We didn’t refer to them as the GOPe or RNC out of respect. We
detested them.
They’ve sold us out for the last 70+ years.
Even Reagan and Trump had to fight them every step of the
way. The Republican leadership may have defended Trump a
couple of times in four years. May have...
This was the biggest lost opportunity in our nation’s
history.
If the Republican leadership had played ball, what is
happening right now would not be happening.
Instead, they waffled through and here we are.
Trump isn't a Republican. He ran for office as one because, at the time, his prospects as a "second party" candidate were poor.
Biden will never be recognized as a legitimate president after this Crooked Stolen Election
and he knows it.
but he never planned to be president anyway this time, he was just used as the Trojan Horse for Soroz to get a compliant communist puppet (albeit another ineligible one) into the White House
Leftist telling Trump voters how they are wrong
As a Democrat you would think that this would give him reason to cheer.
But it doesn’t because it really isn’t true. He is a Democrat and is lying as usual.
Trump has brought leadership and success to the Republicans in Congress and this frustrates Cedric and the other Democrats. It is the desperation to be rid of Trump by those in the Democrat Party that led them to bet the farm on Biden and risk everything on the most ambitious voting fraud scheme in history.
The Democrats and their allies in the media are telling the most blatant lies in order to keep the scheme alive and they have allies in the Republican Party that like Mitt Romney hold a grudge against Trump for beating them in the 2016 primary.
Anyone whose ambition or plans that where frustrated by the outsider that is Trump now have formed an alliance of convenience against Trump and will do all that they can to stop a 2nd Trump term regardless of the consequences.
