Setting the Stage • Army and Navy will meet in the greatest rivalry in all of sports on Saturday at Michie Stadium (38,000) in West Point for the 121st playing of America's Game, the Army-Navy Game presented by USAA. CBS Sports will televise the game nationally with kickoff set for 3:00 pm. • Navy leads the all-time series against Army 61-52-7 (.534), including a 3-0 mark in games played at West Point. • Saturday's game will be the first Army-Navy game played at a home site since 1943, due to World War II, when Navy won at West Point 13-0. Navy also won the 1942 game in Annapolis 14-0. • If Navy defeats Army and Army beats Air Force the following week, the Mids will retain the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy. The three schools have not gone 1-1 against each other since 1993 when Air Force retained the trophy (Navy beat Air Force, Air Force beat Army, Army beat Navy). A win by Navy would also make it two straight and 16 out of the last 19 for the Mids over Army. • In the previous 48 years the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy has been on the line, only four times has there been a tie (1974 retained by Navy, 1976 retained by Navy, 1980 retained by Navy and 1993 retained by Air Force).

Has the USNA or USMA athletic departments totally bastardardized, cheapened, and butt**cked themselves by issuing a video supporting BLM as has the USAFA A-dept collection of dumbasses?
As a grad, we always knew that the A-dept most definitely existed at the other side of the universe when it came to smarts, but this is beyond ridiculous.
My granddaughter is a first year at USNA got to go the opposite
As a Navy grad (and father of a Navy), I can honestly say Navy is terrible this year. Go Navy, Beat Army.
Are you a graduate of the USMA?
What are ‘Mids’?
Understood. My son is USMA 2011.
Game often played in Philadelphia but moving it on federal property keeps it out of the Governors’ reach.
A-Dept? Arts?
Midshipmen. USNA undergrads.
Watch the game to see who steals whose mascot.
The student body at the Naval Academy is known collectively as the Midshipmen. Army are the Cadets.
Midshipmen
But this Army vet still says;
GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY!
Usually the best game in college football. I try to watch this game if none else. Keep the marxist crap off the field or the audience will vanish.
Do or die for both clubs. Record means nothing.
Too bad the institutions have been clogged up with pc claptrap. When prayer at meals was banned, I was touring the Naval academy courtesy of a Navy captain. He seemed stunned when I stated that none of my kids or grandkids would ever attend such a place due the mandated prohibition on religion. Never forget the look, almost shock in his eyes.
Nope, USAFA grad. Right now, I’m rather ashamed of my school. Always loved the interservice football games, though. Of course, we always rooted for our schools, but whichever academy won, we won.
There are quite a few USAFA grads here on FR, thanks for your service!
I’m watching as usual...
Place your bets! 😁
Saturday at 3:00 pm I’m going to watch - mainly to show the networks that people like football, they just don’t like the PC and Marxist crap.
