I did some work for a post-secondary institution, and they put my retirement deductions into TIAA-CREF. I think the only people who make money in TIAA-CREF are the managers and board of directors. I moved everything out of it ASAP. I left about 6 dollars in there. After about 20 years, I think my last quarterly statement said I still had about dollars.
