The Kinneys paid off their house but took out a new mortgage to pay defense lawyers after a family member was arrested in 2002, the Red House on the Mississippi group has said.

Well, there you go.

Banks will not have the option to refuse to lend, and they will not be allowed to foreclose. Therefore, in cases where the borrower cannot or chooses not to repay the loan, the bank will just have to cancel it. Then, the bank will have to lend to the same people again.

I suppose it all ultimately ends up on the taxpayer, one way or another.

Shame on Fox News for repeatedly saying the Kinney family "has owned" the house since the 1950s. They do not own it now: Mr. Ozeruga's company presently owns it.

Just part of the push for justice and equality. WTH?! And in reality, the state owns it as long as property taxes are due. And that will be forever.
