Americans are fast assuming this conformist and indifferent attitude so characteristic of the Soviet people back in the day.
The difference is that back in the day most people in Eastern Block countries knew that it was better to live in the West... they were trapped but they were not stupid. These days we have idiots here who believe that it would be better for them to live under a socialist/communist regime. They even talk up Communist China and say that their system would be better for “global warming”. The dumbing down of America is being achieved every day by our media, Hollywood, and our educational system.
